How much do boat tours cost?
Our prices start as low as $34 USD per person on selected group departures. We also offer private charters and customizable hourly options if you want a fully tailored day on the water.

What’s included in the price?
All snorkeling and safety gear, drinks and snacks, a bilingual specialized tour guide and certified boat captain, bathroom access before boarding, and a rinse/shower and changing area after the excursion. We also include round-trip transportation from our meeting points in Puerto Vallarta. On select tours, we include appetizers at beachfront restaurants (itinerary and availability dependent).

How long are the tours?
From 1.5 hours up to full-day adventures, depending on the tour you choose—snorkeling at Los Arcos, beach-hopping to Las Animas, Quimixto, and Yelapa, sunset cruises, seasonal whale watching, and fishing charters.

How do I book? Can you handle special requests?
Book directly on our website, or email/call us ( info@mismaloyaxtreme.com or +52-322-377-8634 ) and we’ll make the reservation for you, answer questions, and accommodate special requests (birthdays, proposals, specific stops, earlier returns for cruise ship schedules, etc.).

What happens if it rains or the weather looks bad?
Light rain doesn’t affect our activity. If there’s bad weather or unsafe sea conditions, we reschedule or refund you 100%—your safety and comfort come first.

What should I bring?
– Swimsuit and towel
– Reef-safe sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses
– Light cover-up or dry clothes for after the tour
– Waterproof phone case or camera
– If you’re prone to motion sickness, consider medication 1 hour before boarding
– A little cash for any extras or tips

Are your tours safe?
Yes. We operate with certified captains and trained, bilingual guides, carry all required safety gear, and follow best practices at Los Arcos and across Banderas Bay. Please follow your guide’s instructions when snorkeling, cliff-jumping, or entering/exiting the boat.

Who can join?
Our experiences are family-friendly and open to most guests. However, we don’t recommend them for people with severe health issues, and our boats/boarding locations are not wheelchair accessible. If you have mobility concerns or medical questions, reach out so we can advise the safest option.

Where do tours depart from? Do you offer pickup?
Most tours depart from Mismaloya Beach. For convenience, we offer pickup at select times from meeting points in Puerto Vallarta (including an option one block from the cruise ship terminal). Your confirmation will list exact times and locations.

Are tips required?
Gratuities are optional. Our priority is that you have a great time; if you loved your crew and experience, tips are always appreciated.

I’m arriving by cruise ship—can I join?
Absolutely. We conveniently offer transport from a block away from the cruise ship terminal and can coordinate timing to match most port calls. Tell us your ship’s schedule and we’ll advise the best departure.  Click here to see the location.
